Singer-songwriter Sara Alhinho sees herself as an artist without borders - rooted in Cape Verde, inspired by the sounds of the world. Born in Portugal to a Cape Verdean mother and Mexican father, Alhinho embodies an intercontinental musical identity.

In 2014, she recorded her first solo album, "Mosaico", for which she receives a Cape Verdean Music Award.

For the last five years, Sara has been living in Lisbon, where she released her second electro-acoustic album “Ton di Petu”, which took her on tour in Europe.

Currently, she  is promoting her new EP, "MI"  launched in May.
